IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  1. Competitive Solo Classes are in-person only.

  2. Participants may have someone else tune their instruments.

  3. Concerti include Concertini and Concert pieces that are accompanied by orchestra.

  4. Accurate performance times are necessary for class scheduling and to avoid disqualification for exceeding class time limits.

  5. The festival is unable to accommodate collaborative pianist schedules due to the complexity of coordinating numerous individual schedules within the festival timeline.

  6. ONE Winner will be selected from ALL PIANO & VIOLIN CONCERTO PARTICIPANTS.

  7. Following the competition, performers chosen to play at the Gala Competition will be notified by email. This notification will be sent by 11:59 PM on the following day. Failure to confirm attendance either from parents and/or teachers by the deadline given in the email will result in forfeiting the chance to compete at the Gala Competition.

  8. Winner must perform at the Gala Competition to receive the CA$300 scholarship.

  9. The Concerto Class winner must provide his/her own collaborative pianist. The festival committee does not arrange or supply accompanist.
